I got a copy of Whispering Lion's record "You ain't cool" which is a real different and enjoyable sort of record. It's also been #8 on the KQAK Midnight Dread count-up for so long that when it leaves they're retiring the number. Very well produced, and featuring the most imaginative use of female backing vocals I've heard in reggae music. Whispering Lion is playing live this month on the 17th and 25th, and is reportedly as different and enjoyable live as on record. Check it!
